Journal of Hacettepe Faculty of Dentistry is one of the oldest periodical academic dental journals in Turkey. Covering a wide range of readers from the dental and academic profession, the journal has been in regular press since its inauguration. Published quarterly, the journal welcomes manuscripts in both Turkish and English languages.
General topics of interest include Oral and dental diseases, basic dental research, dental biomaterials, periodontology, oral biology, restorative dentistry, endodontics, pediatric dentistry, oral implantology, oral surgery and pathology, prosthodontics, orthodontics, public health and epidemiology, dental traumatology, contemporary experimental research, clinical studies, literature reviews and case reports. Journal of Hacettepe Faculty of Dentistry is a non-profit educational activity of the Faculty administration and is distributed fre of charge to dental associations, schools, libraries and other institutions all over the nation.
The Journal of Hacettepe Faculty of Dentistry is currently being indexed in the TUBITAK ( The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey) databases. The journal has been the first periodical dental publication to receive credit issued through The Turkish Dental Association.
